A lot of people groom at home. There are instructional videos made by YT member Marci in the "stickies" at the top of this section.
I have to admit, having my boys in full coat makes home grooming a little easier. Shorter hairstyles may take a little more practice and artistry.
Even if you use a groomer, start working with your pup from day one getting him accustomed to being touched on the paws, ears, head, and so on. Train him to sit still for brushing and daily maintenance grooming. Your breeder should already be doing this, and you should keep it up.
