  I'm pretty sure the "visits" would coincide with needing his sperm for breeding.  Sounds like she doesn't want to deal with belly bands, marking, and humping behaviors that come with a stud dog and keeping him in a cage is easier.  If someone else is willing to put up with the behaviors she isn't, and she still has access to his sperm, it's a win/win for her.  I don't think there is any one that is not going to breed a male that would have the long term patients to tolerate a behavior that is normal for breeding males.  And expecting to train it away without neutering I believe is an unreasonable expectation for you and him.  This person is completely self centered and selfish but unless you are able to lower the testosterone with a neuter, you're setting yourself up for failure.
