Yeah this was my first time at looking for a pure breed pup, so I admit I didnt really know what to look for in a good breeder and probably made some mistakes- I'll be doing some follow up with that breeder I got my pup from...

But I am so thankful that we got Tanny. She is so loving, playful, and full of energy. I know that she will grow up into a wonderful companion. Aside from having to be de-wormed, my vet says that she is in excellent health. But I know now to watch out for shady breeders- I've learned my lesson.

As far as coats go, i had no idea that yorkies had such a variety in coat quality. Its a very interesting and confusing subject. Tanny does look a little like a redleg, but she has hair growing on her ears and her coat does not get coarse further down her back which I hear are distinctive qualities of redlegs. I was just a little concerned when sombody said that she looked like a Chihuahua mix...
