Because your baby is small, I probably wouldn't push past 2-3 hours without a check. Hopefully someone with more experience with smaller pups will weigh in on how long before you can leave her for more extended periods of time.

We are both teachers who have the summer off. So if we left, it would only be to go to the gym for an hour because she is so small. We are conscious of that.
