Default When Is it Okay to Leave?

We brought our new baby, Dharma, home Saturday. She is doing beautifully! We are crate training her and she loves her "home", as we call her crate. We take her outside about every 3 hours and she hasn't had an accident these past two days. She is settling down great!

We were wondering when it would be okay to leave her home alone in her crate for an hour or two. I left her for 20 minutes on Monday while I ran to the pet store while my fiance was at work and she had diarrhea all over the crate. She does have coccidia so it might of been due to that, or anxiousness of being home alone. (She is being treated! :-))

I want her to be comfortable with her new home. We want to leave her for an hour to start with so she gets comfortable with us leaving. We eventually need to leave her home alone but we want to do it right. Is it too early to leave her home alone? Of course when we leave, she will be in her crate.

We appreciate all of the help!

Thanks!
