I agree--kids (and us) should pay just as much attention to what we're eating. I don't have kids, so Jackson is
like a child to me, but I think it's terrible how children are fed today. To me, feeding a dog Pedigree every day is equivalent to feeding a kid MickeyD's
every day. I will give Jackson junky canned food on occasion (such as Cesar's wet) but it's not an every day thing, so to me, it's liking giving him a snack of junk food treat.
I've started a diet but I still treat myself every once in a while to a soda or two a week, and a restaurant a week. I am definitely not a nutritious person but I have been learning to eat healthier and how to read labels. My dogs life span is also a whole heck of a lot shorter than mine so I'd really love him to live as long as he can and give him the best he can get.
