Since Loki flies down 3-5 stairs at a time anyway, I skipped the stairs and just made him a "step" for the bed (He has no prob with the couches) I took one of those ready-to-finish craft boxes from Michaels and covered it with some batting and fabric with my trusty staple gun. I put it next to our very high bed to give him an extra step to get up there. He uses it like a trampoline and still comes bouncing onto the bed, but at least he isn't crashing into the side of it ever other time he tries to get up there. He still jumps off. There is no stopping my wild child!

Just another option for you! And super cheap!
