Wow! I'm only about 1 hour SW of where you live, I had my Maddie's teeth cleaned in April and it was less than $200, including the pre-op blood work. She didn't have any baby teeth removed, a couple were removed when she was spayed.
You should bring your baby to the country next time you need a dental!! The head vet at the clinic here has some kind of certification that a lot of vets don't have and a lot of people come from quite a distance to bring their animals to him.
