We have several
huge mega Asian markets here that sell every type of food you can imagine. I was browsing around Super H Mart and saw pig ears, noses, tails, belly (I was told the belly tastes like bacon), mouths, and intestines, jellyfish (yes, I guess some people eat them), and every creature from the bottom of the ocean the you can imagine. Also goat parts, whole cow tails (or maybe them were ox tails), to name a few.
One of my students said she misses eating guinea pigs...she said they are a delicacy in Peru. On 20-20 about three or four months ago, an African market in
New York was under investigation for selling monkey meat!!
With that being said, I think we'll have a nice salad for dinner.
