I am so sorry for your loss.
I think you did the right thing for Breezy. When i was reading your post about you and her staring at each other i got goosebumps. I think she was "talking" to you with her eyes. Telling you she loved you very much but it was time for her to say good bye. Then she climbed up in bed with you to share her favorite sleeping position with you one last time.
RIP Breezy. You will be greatly missed
