There are differences in brands, but the Humane Society would be using an okay one. They will likely have meds on hand if something goes wrong. If it's a clinic and not an actual vet's office, they may not have everything that they need to be safe (i.e. crash cart...sorry). If there is an ER vet very close or it's done at a vet facility, I don't see a major problem with it. Also would depend on last exam and if they will be doing one and if she is liver compromised.
Also, these clinics, well, they fill a whole bunch of vaccines at a time and then the syringes sit out (not refrigerated). Not sure on the lifespan of the vaccine after that happens. Just really depends...
I'd still much prefer my regular vet do it (and we have to with Ellie's issues), but $100 is a lotta money!
