My Moka is exactly like you describe, and I consider her a red leg too. I don't have any pictures of a hair cut though, because she has never had one. But I do have an album of her. Their type of coat doesn't usually mat, at least Moka's never mats. Her hair is extremely brittle and breaks off easy, but is otherwise pretty thick. I just trim off the longer whispy hairs to keep it even looking which helps to make it look fuller still. She doesn't spend much time out doors when it is hot, and I have never noticed her being overly hot without a hair cut. I recently (2-3 months ago) switched her food to Wellness, and am actually starting to see some regrowth of hair on her ears, and her coat has a softer feel to it, so I am excited about that. Your baby is precious.
