He said her teeth are very bad already and she looks like she will have problems down the road with bad teeth.. He will show me the x-rays when I go to pick her up. Her bone density is very bad. She only just turned 2 in March and all she eats is hard kibble and water. I can't understand it. I have to call about 3ish and they will let me know when I could get her home. I will let you know how she is when i go get her.

Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.

If it weren't for you guys who knows what would have happened to my baby. Thank you..... Thank you...... Thank you !!!!
did he remove the other tooth? If it is starting to abssess it needed to be removed or she will have to go under again My demi lost 27 teeth at 4 years old due to periodontal disease and I did a lot of research on this. If the teeth are bad they need to go or they will affect other teeth. Was her globulin high on her blood work as that is a sign of periodontal disease. It is very common in toy breeds to have periodontal disease.

The bone to tooth ratio is very small in toy breeds is where the problem lies unlike in humans and big dogs so if they have bone loss it will affect their teeth.
