Trusting your vet & having your own knowledge, research & advice are two different things. A GREAT breeder will always listen to the advice from their vet, but also a GREAT breeder knows their dogs better than anyone. Most vets go to school and learn the basics, we as breeders share what works for us as a whole. I for one, feel that injecting a puppy with chemicals IF NOT needed is just asking for trouble, would you give a new born baby Tylenol if their were no symptoms?
