Tensley is 9, almost 10, months old and is NOT neutered. However, and I'm 99.9% positive on this, there are NO female dogs within a one mile radius (beyond the one mile is water). SERIOUSLY! We live in a very small, vacation community that, at the moment, might have 10 residents. And of those 10 residents, 8 have dogs, ALL neutered MALES. And there've been no new vacationers in the condo's near us.

Believe me, a female in heat is something I immediately thought when Tensley started pacing. But he doesn't whine or make any noise, he just frantically paces all over, almost like he doesn't know what to do with himself when someone can't give him attention. I try to distract him, giving him his toys, but he wants me to sit with him. Otherwise, he paces.

Have I created a monster?
