Ann...this is a great post. There is absolutely no reason for someone to shoot another down just because they don't agree...whether it's the technique used...the pups age...or anything else for that matter. Many of us are new yorkie owners and only come on here to gain insight and get advice from 'seasoned' yorkie owners...but it's sad to say that some have been treated wrongly and have given up the message boards to go it alone because they were bashed for one thing or another. If I weren't intent on training Zoe right I would have left this board already. I am thankful there are people like you who still have compassion....My dictionary says it's a "strong desire to alleviate the suffering"...not the desire to add to it.
