I have to assume when you ask for suggestions before you "give up", you are just frustrated and may have to 'give up' the dream of a cuddly puppy. That said, please have faith and patience - I'm sure we've all gone through that frustration at some point. I got Rocco at 8 weeks with the breeder's blessing (me not knowing any better at the time even though I did LOTS of research), and I also heard all of the scary talk on YT about how awful it was to get him so soon. Yes, we went through a biting problem very early on, but we corrected that and have no problems today. Rocco also isn't a cuddlebug unless he's tired, but he is getting more mature and calm by the day....I often have to remind myself that he's only 6 months old. Another issue you have to think of is establishing yourself as the Alpha Dog, before your pup takes on the role herself. Strict training, a regular schedule and heaps of patience will pay off big.
