I would definitely recommend getting her to another vet...infections can spread fast.

I would also try to tempt her to eat with some bites of boiled chicken breast or even treats of some kind...baby food meats or anything that will give her protien and hold her sugar levels. NutriCal, corn syrup and things like that are good in emergencies but you really should try to get her to eat something solid.

I would definitaly start looking for another vet though or even call your vet again and tell her how things have progressed and see if she can get her in sooner.
