My first yorkie was born in 1983, she was 4,5 kilo - second was born in 1984, he was 1,5 kilo and the third yorkie was born in 1989 ans she was 3,5 kilo....
for those that find it a challenge to convert
my eldest was the "standard"yorkie that u see on postcards, my little boy was the smallest, he kept the black saddle, but had blonde legs and head with grey highlights and the youngest was very silver....
They all passed at the respective age of 14 years.
as far as i can tell the sizes havent really changed much, i dont know why they are trying to get the breed to a smaller size, to me size doesnt matter, health is whats important.... i would love a 8 pounder that i can carry around on my hip with a bow in its hair
