As others have said 6wks is way too young to get a dog and it is not legal to sell a puppy until it is at least 8wks. For most of the breeders that I've gotten my previous yorkies from, most of them will refuse to let their pup leave until it's at least 12 wks due to yorkies small size and stubborness. so to give up would be as though you give up on an infant because you're worried it might not do well in college. it's has a long ways into the future. remember they have a much longer lifespan.

none of my yorkies have been cuddlers until they got older and settled down a bit. they all wanted to sleep with me but i wouldn't let them sleep in the bed overnight until they were at least a year and fully housebroken.

my new little scamp Logan is all over the place. he barks at me, my mother. either for attention, food, to play, to demand someone clean up his pee puddle or out of boredom. you can't take what a dog does personally and they definitely like to test the waters and see how far they can push you sometimes.

he also doe the keep away. where he will run at full speed and try to crawl under the couch. which is a reason he's been put on a 30 ft leash indoors so we can teach him to come when he is called and to reel him in if he doesn't listen.

he's not much of a cuddler either. he'll let you hold him for a minute and then he'll cry to be let down so he can get into stuff. you can see him looking around with an expression like what can i get into now? sometimes i'll hold him a little longer than he wants me to just because he'll start licking your face and hands to make you put him down. i would rather he lick to be put down over wriggling free and just running off.

i love their little personalities though and i wouldn't change a thing about them.
