where i live most groomers stopped accepting puppies that didn't have their rabies shot.

i would invest in a good dog trimmer. it can cut down grooming appointments. and there are a lot of tutorials on how to groom if you want to save the money. just make sure you get a trimmer/clippers that have comb attachments that you can use while you're still learning so you don't nick your puppy.

those saved me and now i don't even go to a groomer anymore.
