On Monday 3/27, we just puchased a 7 week old, Female - Yorkie. She was the largest one and it was a Local Breeder (no shipping this time) and she was only a $1,000.00, compared to $3,000.00 for my last male "Artie".
I thought that was a bargain since she had a "Champion Bloodline" on both sides of her Parents and I had a strict criteria; Straight back/topline, straight teeth, small ears, blonde or gold and silver, estimated between 5-7 pounds at adulthood.
I was real specific in what I needed, I did alot of research and I wanted to make sure she was not shipped in a crate in the cargo area of some plane, not only do I find that cruelty but my last male puppy suffered and is still "Traumatized" by sight of a plastic crate....he freaks when he sees one!
