Someday try to come up to the United Center to watch Detroit play the Hawks it would be a once in a life time experience for you. Listening to the unbelievable roar of the crowd during the National Anthem is one of a kind in all of sports. It's a shame the Hawks play Detroit probably only twice a year at home since both were in the original six teams and those games are sold out as are all the games. Stub Hub seems to be the best way to get tickets here if you don't have season tickets. This is the second year now that the Hawks are broadcasting on T.V. all their games home and away which was never done before thanks to Rocky Wirtz the son of the owner that passed away a couple of years ago. The old man was known as "Dollar Bill" Wirtz because he was so cheap. It's amazing just a couple of years ago the Blackhawks franchise was voted the absolute worse run franchise in any sport and Rocky Wirtz turned that around in just a couple of years. Maybe I better stop my hockey babbling here the woman probably think they got on the wrong forum. |
