Thankfully my Shelby is doing well after her AAI surgery. She still and always will have residual problems we work with, stability, etc and a few congentital defects we were not aware of until this happened. All I can say is I dont know what I would have done without the support of my AAI group. We had our surgery done 1 1/2 years ago by Dr Axlund at Metropolitan Hosp here in Ohio. What a wonderful wonderful neurosurgeon and person. |
what AAI group do you belong to so we can pass that along when we see one of these babies as I am so thankful for yahoogroups as they helped me stay sane when my dex was so sick so I always recommend them whenever I can to help others as it is great to be in a group dealing with the same issues with their dogs as you are so you do not feel so alone. Also you can learn so much from each other as each person is seeing different specialists and you can compare treatments and what is and is not working.
