IS the person that you bought your puppy from the breeder? If not you can ask these people if they remember who the breeder is. Go back to the breeder and see if they gave registration papers to these folks. The breeder if AKC litter has to keep records of who puppies were sold to and if papers were gave.
If the couple that you bought the baby from are not the breeder and gave you nothing in writing stating they would provide papers you may be out of luck. You would need their help to sign off papers even if you could get duplicates.
It gets very complicated when you don't get things in writing. |
