I've really been on with a lot of questions tonight!

Hair color. My 3-month-old pup is basically black and shades of gold and tan, but he has a lot of white roots (and disappearing black hair) on the very top of his head. He also seems to have almost white/silver roots over much of his trunk.

Is part of his hair going to be much lighter - white/silver - when he grows up?

I have noticed that Yorkies are so many different colors.

I just wonder about the almost white color at the very roots of much of his hair.
