This sounds like alot of fun to do! About the pictures, the easiest way I have found where you don't have to download anything to your computer is Picnik.com. It is free and all you have to do is sign up. It's what I use for some of my photo editing and didn't need the resize feature until I tried to put pics on here and didn't want to have to download something to my computer.
