 Brushing and combing....
I have a new little Yorkie pup - 4 to 5 lbs - about 10 weeks old.
He goes absolute crazy if I try to comb or brush him. And - it is not that I'm hurting him - because more often than not - I haven't even touched him yet. He's a big boob! I can't help but think, "My God, I'd hate to be the groomer that gets you!"
I've had lots of dogs. And, I know some dogs hate being combed or brushed and some love it.
This little guy has sparse, thin, straight hair. It isn't tangled and it should be relatively easy to brush or comb. And, it's short.
I guess I'll just brush him a little every day (and be gentle) whether he likes it or not. I know this sounds easy - and he should probably get used to it...
but you really should to see him turning cartwheels and sommersaults and whinning and barking and going nutzoid! It's almost funny because he is really a calm little guy.
