Hey guys, when I took Molly to the vet for her puppy check, I showed him her dry skin. Of course, I've changed her food and I don't know what kind of shampoo the breeder used and stuff, but the vet gave me this homemade shampoo recipe to try. He didn't say it would make it better per say, but said it would keep it from getting worse. He also told me about some stuff to put on her food that they had that would clear it up, but I thought I would wait a couple of weeks to see if this other stuff would work first since it was $23.
Anyway, here it is if anyone is interested:
3oz. of EITHER: Joy, Palmolive, or Ivory
1 1/2oz: White Vinegar
1 1/2 oz: Glycerine (available at drug stores)
Mix into 1/2 gal. of water
I haven't tried this yet so I can't vouch for it, but like I said, I got it from my vet.
