Yeah, that is one plan that in theory should work. Our female who always seems to be hungary (and we are trying hard to control her weight), usually puts up a fuss when we eat. She does not expect human food, we never have fed her from our plates. She does want more kibbles when we eat, however. We usually don't give in, but if she is barking with the super-yorkies bark, and she has not eaten that much over her ration, we do give in on occasion.
