Getting the correct height for him will help matters first, and then as Mardelin stated, he may need to be guided to or into the female. I have to do this everytime I have bred my stud. One method we happened upon by accident was using our pet stairway that allows ours up on the bed and placed the female on the last step and the stud just behind her on the step higher and this has worked 4-5 times after everyone in the room was sweating. Good luck! It can be quite a "work-out" for all involved
