I just took my Maddie out to poop, when she did there were 3 WORMS that were alive on it. Looked likes long grains of rice only flatter. I about to FREAK OUT!!!!!
She takes Sentinal monthly. Do I need to get her on a wormer ASAP or can it wait until Monday a.m.??????
Please help I am seriously freaked out not to mention grossed out. Where do these worms even come from? She doesn't eat poo, only around other dogs when groomed, doesn't go to a dog park, only exposure to outside other than my fenced back yard (that another dog has never been in) is when we walk in the neighborhood.
What you are seeing are segments of a much longer tapeworm. They break off and appear as wiggly grains of rice. They are easy to get rid of with treatment the vet can provide. No EMERGENCY.
