Roxie is a total beggar too. I have a feeling her previous owner's gave her table food all the time, because she's been doing it since day one here. She will sit next to the table while we eat and just stare up at us with those big eyes. Sometimes, if she is feeling really bold, she will jump up on the bench next to me and look at me hopefully. It is a pathetic site really, but I try not to give in. On occasion, though, I will give her plain veggies or plain white rice from my plate...things I know she can have.
