I have a yorkie with IBD. Chicken gives him mucusy poops also. I feed him Natures Recipe Lamb and Rice and the canned Natures Recipe lamb and salmon. The canned is abit pricey,but it works and he's worth it. On ocassion I bake him Tilipia fish. Glad you are on the right track.
