The vet said that she was looking over all Daisy's medical records and came across where When Daisy had a bad reaction to the leptospirosis vaccination and thought that maybe the Doxycycline gave Daisy this reaction. She said that Daisy probably should of not go on this knowing her sensitivity. OMG!!!
She said that she wrote across Daisy File already NO DOXYCYCLINE!!!!
This I found very interesting.

She said that she wasn't ruling out cancer but the fact that all her symptoms have improved since the fluids and milk thistle is a good sign.

My husband asked her if she thought that it was necessary to have Daisy on 100mg when she only weighs 21 lbs considering that is the max for her size. She replied that she has NEVER had a dog react this way and it is a very rare case but considering all Daisy's past history probably should of not been put on this..

So basically it could of killed Daisy............I am so UPSET!!!
Shouldn't they have viewed her history BEFORE prescribing?

Well we are at now is if Daisy's lvls continue to drop then tomorrow afternoon she can come home.

Please pray for her lvls to continue to drop. I want her home we miss her so much it is so quiet with out her barking
I think I will NEVER complain about her barking again
lol that is funny about the barking lolll

I am sure she will be fine by tomorrow. It takes some time for them to get her balanced out and fluids are good for her right now.

I doubt this is cancer so stop worrying about that I think it was a reaction to meds.

Yep I know the feeling as the vet did not check dee dee chart and almost gave her convenia shot when she broke out in hives from simplicef - same antibiotic family. I would have been screwed if I had agreed to it but I said NOPE as we did not know she had a UTI so why give her an antibiotic plus shots are much more strong than pills. At end of appt i said you remember she had hives from simplicef and he looked like OH NO and said good thing we did not give her that shot. NO Good thing i told you NOOOOOO. So am I surprised - sadly no I am just glad she is ok and you were a good mom and on top of it quick or this could have not been so good Also glad it is the liver and not the kidneys affected as liver is forgiving where as kidneys are not.
