Well, dogs who have firm healthy stool usually never have any trouble with their anal glands bc everytime they do their business they are expressed. But since my moms dog TA is on a special high fat science diet can food and bottled water so her stool is always very loose and oily and bc of this when she goes potty her anal glands are never expressed. And Harleys poo is always firm so that's why I was asking if there are any other reasons why he would drag his bum.
