How does salmonella get into a food supply (whether pet food or human food)? Salmonella is a FECES-BORNE bacterium. Aside from exposure to contaminated water or other unsanitary conditions, here's one way: A facility where food is processed or warehoused is INFESTED by pigeons. Salmonella comes from pigeon droppings and from dead pigeons. How can anyone think it's okay for that problem to be so prevalent in our food supply and in our pets' food supply? This is EXACTLY why We are so committed to Life's Abundance.

If you'd like to find out more about diseases borne by pigeons, please see

I am just plain horrified by this problem that plagues food supplies-and by
the fact that people just calmly accept it. "Oh, this bag is bad and all
those bags last month or last year were bad. But the next bag I'll get from
them will be fine. OR, that doesn't affect me because I dont feed that kind." That is, of course, if they even know about the recall
in the first place!
