Hi, Jack uses bells to go outside he has been doing it for almost 4.5 yrs now. I started by making a long cord made of bells. I brought him over to the bells took his paw and rang the bells and gave him a treat I put a long string of bells on the handle of the sliding glass door.
The funny thing is that Jack goes over and rings the bell when he wants to eat and play its really funny but he runs towards his food area when I go near the door.!!! lol
I try not to confuse things I keep it simple. I pick him up and bring him back and take him outside . It worked and he has been doing it ever since. Now my girls Mandy and Lila are a different story
