We trained using the bell also. I used to take Nibbles out every 1-2 hours when he was in "potty training" status and whenever I took him out, I took his paw and rang the bell and opened the door and put him outside. If he would go, I would tell him that he was a good boy and gave him a treat. I kept doing it and on day three, I heard the bell ring. Now it's non-stop. He rings the bell when he wants to go outside to potty or play, well most of the time
