I use the Nature's Miracle too and like it. I have one spot where I have used it a lot, and it felt like it had a soapy residue built up so I took my carpet steamer and instead of using any carpet cleaner, I put a little vinegar in my water and just went over the area with hot vinegar water to pick up the residue. There were a lot of suds in my water, so I felt like it really worked. It did leave my carpet feeling much softer without that residue feeling. Maybe I am just not getting it cleaned up good enough when I spot clean too, but I do like Nature's Miracle, this is just a tip if you have a particular spot where you have had to do a lot of spot cleaning over time.
