 Homemade doggie ice cream for my girls
After reading a thread about doggie ice cream started by Rhett's Mama, I decided to make a frozen treat for my girls last night. Really simple.
Just blend:
1 8 oz container of blueberry yogurt--no artificial sweetners
8 oz natural applesauce (no sugar added)
a tablespoon of peanut butter (i used organic, no sugar added)
Mix all together, freeze, and then spoon out like ice cream. They love it! It will probably make about 10 servings. You don't want to give too much. There is sugar in this treat from the yogurt. It's diluted though, because of the applesauce.
