Guranteeing is a good step in the right direction. But, testing is another big step. Not doing so, especially in yorkies is hiding one's head in the sand. There are so many people out there that aren't line breeding and haven't a clue in what is in their pedigrees. These people are under the misconception that by breeding this way they are less apt to have problems in the breeding stock. So, incorrect.
