When Sully was a puppy, and even now - we would go out into an open field across the street from our old house and run "drills" with Sully.
My hubby would go on one side of the field and me on the other side. We'd take turns saying sweetly, "Sully, come Here" and pointing to the ground.
Our cute little puppy would bound across the grass excited to greet me, I would praise him and tell him "good boy, gooood dog!" and then my hubby would take his turn calling Sully.
Back and fourth, and back and fourth forlike 10 times. It was good exercise for him too and he was so cute running across the grass to mommy and daddy.
Now, when we go to doggy playgroup (yes we have one almost every day) when our dogs start running off, and we all have to call them back.......the only one that truly listens and obeys every time is Sully!
We're so proud
