A sin is a sin. If you believe that God forgives sinners you can't specify which ones. An illness is an illness. If you believe that God shows compassion to the sick you can't specify which sickness. If the Bible was written as the Word of God to be given to man to be interpreted by each individual as God deems needed for that man/woman's spiritual needs, you can't argue or second guess that particular God given interpretation. Forgiveness is Forgiveness.
