OP, Kaji is a cottony coated yorkie. His entire body has a kink to it, and when it's longer it gets curlier. Unless I brush it out with the blow dryer, then I straighten it out a bit. But, regardless of how I let his hair dry, his head hair is significantly straighter. The only parts of his head that have a kink to them are two semi curls on his mustache, on either side of his face.
Is your baby's hair thick all over? Kaji has a silky friend (Uni) and a modified coated friend (Missy) so I've seen all 3 coats in person.
