Five thousand dollars is an extremely high estimate for PSS surgery. There are places that will do it cheaper (UT) if that's the diagnosis. If there is a shunt present (and there may not be), prognosis is probably poor without surgery, esp. with bladder involvement, etc. The surgery does have risks, but in the right hands, there is a very good chance that things will go just fine.  |

Could you take a vacation to UofT for a week? I think Ronda (ronlynn) went on a thursday and was home on a tuesday or something like that - check out her posts you will see her helping some liver shunt pups recently on this so go to profile then look at recent posts
Ronlynn on here is the one that flew from cali to UofT and i want to say the surgery was 1600-1800 total. I think she did scintigraphy here though. I know here scintigraphy was $394 as they wanted dd to have it done at the place i posted the link but her bats were below 100 and on low protein are now 26. She was 73 post on first one.
