This was probably the cruelest things I did to my dogs but with 10 of them at the door everytime I came home (big entry couldn't gate) I did 2 things. 1st I started kicking the door (hard) which scared a few of them away and the other thing I would do is open the door and drop a can full of change. I did this for a number of weeks and now none of my dogs will even try to get out the door. They all start backing up.
I just couldn't take the chance of trying to reach down to stop 1 and 5 more got out and besides I didn't want to look like Pat some morning
