I could not get Layla's bladder expressed today and it worried me a lot! I tried 3 times between noon and 2 pm and there was nothing. Her last pee was this morning at 7. So when we went in for laser therapy, I asked the tech if she would mind trying it for me. She tried and couldn't get a thing, so she called the vet in to try. She tried too, and couldn't even find the bladder. She said it must not be filled, maybe she just didn't drink anything. I'd guess that took about 5 minutes total.... and I was charged an extra $31 for it!!!!!
My bill went from $22 to $53. Now I know not to ask for help expressing her there anymore!
It's been almost 10 hours without expressing now so I'm going to give it another try again soon. I think she's just trying to keep me on my toes!
