My mother was a colorist at one time, so I always go to her when I want to change the color of my hair at home. She has a color wheel with the name brand dye colors and it gives the base color, so I get great results when I go to MOM!
I did not seek her advice once and will never do it again! I thought a Ash Blonde would look good to try and when I was all done coloring my hair, I had greenish brown hair
I am naturally a dark golden blonde and now I stay away from dyes with a green base color.
