We don't groom ourselves, that was the plan when we ordered it, but we use it for blowing dry, brushing, etc..
It works great for all three! Two are 6+lbs & Crosley is 17lbs.
I've found that my kitchen countertop is the perfect height for me to have them on while grooming. It's so handy to bathe them in the sink and then just move them over a few inches onto the counter to dry/brush/etc. And I have one whole drawer right under that counter that I keep packed full of their brushes, combs, scissors, bows, grooming bands, etc. so everything I need is right there. And I just don't have room anywhere for an actual grooming table.

I'm hoping the grooming arm & band will help keep them from wiggling and turning around on me while I'm working on them. I've never used one before....I don't know how much help they'll be for what I want. Plus, it's just extra precaution to keep them from accidentally stepping off the edge of the counter.
